wrenching on a '96 Cummins

Q: the inner fenderwell liner has some kind of plastic fasteners attaching it in place -- almost looks like a rivet of some kind. it has a tiny circle in the middle of the fastener about as big as a pencil lead. do i have to drill these to remove them no but you do have to get something in there i use a thin phillips screwdriver to punch them loose. theyre like plastic pop-rivets and unfortunately arent re-usable. if this gives good access i was thinking maybe needed to modify the inner liner to have some kind of easy access port. anyone done this sure... just get some of those sheetmetal clips that allow you to thread a screw through them like these http//www.harrison-silverdale.co.uk/type.aspid=284 put those clips in the holes wehre the plastic fasteners came out and when you put your liner back up use some screws with nice wide heads or use washers - but a one-piece screw is easier. .

jmc wrote regulars know gotta 2001 dak club cab 4x4. well something like 200+ miles of the most washboardy roads in existence australian outback have done the death knell to my shocks. so lookin for new ones. got at least another year here so need something tough but thats suitable for paved road miles as well. never had ta buy shocks before so any eddication is gratefully accepted. hubby was reading the other day that auto manufacturers send their 4x4s here to test their ruggedness against these roads. dont doubt it at all. some tricky driving. deep ripples in bull dust which is really really fine dirt makes life interesting. gotta do 35-40mph to even out the bumps some mythbusters nonwithstanding but at that speed the backend does quite a bit of sliding if i dont get the path exactly right. could see from previous tracks that even the more usual 4x4s toyota landcruisers have the same problems anyway despite the roads had a good weekend at the end of dirt road shortcut was a deluxe spa room for me and my so. ... any advice on good shocks for my truck to withstand a certain amount of abuse but still give a good road ride yea cake + eat thanks! jmc i use the monroe gas magnums on my 2002 ram1500 4x4. there cheep and work well; cost around $32.00us each. .

tbone wrote none and why should i. they have done a lousy job. you said you agree that straight line party voters do a disservice to this country. now youre asking why you should vote for any rep that was not a question miles it was a statement. ill tell you one example. because since the dems took control they have completely failed to do what they campaigned to do. they tossed their campaign in the trash and are doing exactly what i told you they would do prior to the elections to which you scoffed. lol get real miles the reps had well over 10 years and 7 with a republican president and and what have they accomplished the dems have control by the slimest of margines and still have an idiot as the president to deal with. as for the pork barrel spending please list specific examples. they did try to do something about this war but our president would rather get thousands of our troops killed than take responsibility for extending this war. they have not reduced spending. even if you use the iraq war as an excuse lets look at all other spending. the dems have passed one pork barrel spending bill after another. please list them and then please explain how they are able to do this without reps help and the president signing off on them. they tried to bury 20 billion $s of unrelated pork spending in the recently failed war bills. please list them or provide a link that does. say what you want about the reps but the dems are not setting a better example. again until you provide something to back up your argument it is really nothing but spin. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

....on my 1998 dodge ram 1500 sport. w/ the 5.9 5.8 l v8. 80 k mileage... i was told to expect mucho dinero for the repair. is it worth getting a used one of the internet and having the local dodge dealership install it im trying to save as much money as possible. i am trying to sell the truck and get as much as possible for it. in a trade in it was appraised at 5000 with the broken condenser. i scoffed at that and left. any thoughts obviously i can get way more for this truck if the a/c works. reputable sites out there for a condenser i was also told the blower should be repalced if the condenser is being replaced...i dunno about that...seems fishy. any help would be appreciated. thanks guys. .

ed h. wrote i could never open the text of the article but the graphs do seem to support your position. the vast majority of perots votes were not from texas. ed h. wrote im not sure about that. perot received the vast majority of his votes from texas. texas still went to the republicans by a huge margin. this may help http//www.ksg.harvard.edu/case/3pt/perotvote.html#anchor311597 .
