From : edsel
Q: does anyone have any ideas why my truck is having a high frequency vibration that you feel in the floorboard or the seat of your pants as i go thru the gears5spd the vibration is worse the higher the rpm and is worse under acceleration than at cruise speed. this is not the same feel as an out of balance tire or front end vibration. mileage 99382 thanks. edsel .

check drive shafts for missing balance weights and while your down there check your u-joints. joe on mon 12 apr 2004 221108 -0400 edsel fordman1@qx.net wrote does anyone have any ideas why my truck is having a high frequency vibration that you feel in the floorboard or the seat of your pants as i go thru the gears5spd the vibration is worse the higher the rpm and is worse under acceleration than at cruise speed. this is not the same feel as an out of balance tire or front end vibration. mileage 99382 thanks. edsel .
