i just installed a set of mopar foglights in an 04 ram with the aftermarked switch that came with the unit. rather than hooking the wiring up as per the directions i wired it directly to the battery with the appropriate breaker installed. does anyone know how to connect these lights to the chime function to chime if i foget to turn them off. thanks in advance i installed the factory fog lights in my 2001 ram. as i remember one of the wires you should have tapped into under the dash took care of the warning chimes. i hope you hooked those up correctly as the switch actually just applied and removed a ground not 12vdc. if the switch and wiring melts......well i guess youll know who to scream at. -- moparman---remove clothes to reply! --scud coordinates 32.61204 north 96.92993 west-- .

hi i have successfully done this. you have a couple of concerns. the 360 is externally balanced so the flex plate will have to have to have the bob weight. in the case of a manual gear you will need to use a 360 flywheel or mill the corresponding volume of iron off the opposite side of the flywheel that the bob weight is on the flexplate. i did this and it just worked. depending on the year you may have to drill and tap a 3/8 npt thread in the top of the inlet manifold to accomodate a thermal sensor. you may use the 5.2 computer with the 5.9 but you will have to change the injectors to the 5.9 flavor. in my instance i had to change the connectors on the injector harness as they are also different. this is a very gratifying change. you will have lots more low end torque more high end power and better economy by 2 mpg. work that out! steve i own a 1998 dodge durango with a 318 with almost 200k miles. i really want to put in a 360. have any of you done this before i am trying to find out what snags i am going to encounter doing this. my biggest concern is the fuel supply and computer. i am pretty certain that the 360 will go in place of the 318 pretty easily. if any of you have any info or websites you could help me with it would be greatly appreciated. thanks plaidfro at hotmail dot com -- plaidfro ------------------------------------------------------------------------ plaidfros profile http//www.usenetcars.com/member.phpuserid=1829 view this thread http//www.usenetcars.com/showthread.phpt=245231 .

kendev wrote after changing the fuel filter i need to bleed the low pressure fuel supplyline - i followed the manual loosen banjo bolt turn key to crank position and release to on did this many times but still getting no fuel in this line - any suggestions if you didnt fill the canister housing with fuel before putting it together it may take several tries to get fuel to the banjo fitting. the procedure is explained fairly well here http//www.dodgeram.org/tech/dsl/filter/00fuelfilter.htm .

my 80 d50 has two fuel filters under the hood one inline at the carb and a bigger one mounted to the wheel well. the bigger one has one line going in from the fuel pump and two going out to the carb. i cant find a dual output filter anywhere so does anyone know of a workaround i was thinking of using a single output filter and putting a y on the line out to the carb. will that setup flow enough .
