truck starts without going to "start" position on ignition

Q: newbie here. i put the key in the ignition put it to the run position and it cranked itself up. i turned it off then did the exact same thing. it did it about four more times and then started normally every time after that. i took it to the dealer and they couldnt find anything. anybody have anything thanks for the input. .
