i have one and have a couple of questions for an experienced ram person. i need to disconnect the rear abs system. it is proving itself to be extremely dangerous at this point. with 10000 lb gooseneck in tow yesterday the rear cut loose due to abs and pushed truck across 3 lanes of 2 lane highway. i have heard there is a plug under the dash but have not received definitive information on this. you know which please tell me. has anyone defeated the 3 peice front axles and auto/fulltime hubs and switched to a standard 2 shaft set-up w/ manual hubs in the front axle d60 355 open diff have 427 and new detroit ready just not installed i really want to do away with this weak system without replacing the entire housing. i will be mounting 38in. j load range michelin xzl tires and need the gears but want the strength of a regular non-disconnect axle shaft. any info on either would be appreciated. thanks in advance. you can email replies to avoid clutter of group to mmiller113@yahoo.com .

look in the yellow pages for an interior repair/upholstery shop. most of those cracks can be repaired if they are not by the airbag. as far as the cause my guess is too much sitting in the direct sunlight. denny anybody know of a good fix for cracks forming on top of the dashboard what causes this sun heat thanks .

nate; no no no from indianapolis do not go i-65n to i-90 w to i-94 from indianapolis do take i-74 west thru danville champaign-urbana bloomington-normal peoria to galesburg and join up with i-80 there take i-80 across iowa to i-29 then i-29 north to i-94 1 cuts the corner around chicago saves about 50 miles 2 avoids the chicago traffic nightmare 3 avoids twin cities traffic nightmare ive driven the chicao and twin cities freeways and its not something to do with towed vehicles besides this way we can meet in bloomington and ill buy breakfast lunch or dinner take your pick depending on time of day so when is the big day nate if i could offer one bit of wisdom when youre on i65 headed north stop and get a motel just before you get to 90. get an early start and go thru chicago about 5am. youll save much stress and aggravation that way not to mention missing the worst traffic in the world. g have a safe move. looks like you are settling in the area where i go for a couple of weeks in the summer. maybe ill run into you sometime. denny here is the route ill be taking on my move to montana. if anyone lives along/near this route and would like to meet up for a handshake and a coke let me know. i had hoped to have enough time to go out of my way a little bit but the schedule does not currently allow for it. http//7slotgrille.com/route.html -- nathan w. collier 03 jeep rubicon jeep and let jeep http//7slotgrille.com .
