transmission service 2001 dakota quad

Q: my manual says do it at 30k+ miles so does online sources. last week the dealer was way behind on my truck 2 hours late! and suddenly came out claiming that 2001 was a crossover year and that my truck had 100000 mile coolant and didnt need to be done. i dont see evidence of this anywhere and given dodges transmission history i dont want to mess around. is he right i think its bull. .
