Q: john kunkel wrote show any violation of context in the biblical passages i posted. you keep using the word teaching; pointing out hypocrisy isnt teaching from the scriptures. try a new line. if you had simply called me a hypocrite that would have been pointing percieved hypocrisy. when you went to the bible and decided to assume an authority you did not have you made it teaching. obviously the word teach has a different meaning for you. to teach is to educate since you are already a self-proffessed expert on the bible my quotes dont amount to teaching. if i quoted the first sentence of moby dick and you had already read it would that be teaching no that would be quoting with no intent to increase ones knowledge. suppose i see an avowed christian banging his next door neighbors wife in full view of dozens of people in a public park. is it teaching to point out that he is in violation of the sixth and ninth commandment is pointing out the obvious violation passing judgement passing judgement would be condemning the behavior not pointing it out. first thing right off the bat a true believing christian unless decieved by satan we are still human would not commit breaches of those commandments. so only non-christians commit adultery in truth the majority of those who do it would undoubtedly describe themselves as christians but would rationalize their behavior in some way. enough of this circular rhetoric lets cut to le chase. kindly answer the following questions for me and the others on the forum 1do you believe your statement in the original post.... i dont think she could be worth more than a couple pigs and a rat but only if they offer change back... is a denigrating statement yes/no. if you dont believe the statement is denigrating to ms. clinton explain why not. if you acknowledge the statement is demeaning explain why such behavior is acceptable for an avowed christian. 2why do you believe this sentence from psalm 15 doesnt apply to your statement about ms. clinton he whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous who speaks the truth from his heart and has no slander on his tongue who does his neighbor no wrong. do you believe your statement wasnt slanderous and that that slander didnt do your neighbor wrong yes/no. if you believe the statemant doesnt fall under the definition of slander explain why. if you acknowledge that the statement is slanderous explain why psalm 15 doesnt accurately describe the slanderous action as unrighteous. dont give me the old the bible must be taken as a whole bullshit you have quoted individual verses quite often in this thread. and dont try the old an atheist has no authority to quote the bible bullshit either try a straight answer without the usual subterfuge. .

if one can accept the notion that god has always existed then its just as easy to accept the notion that matter and energy has always existed. an item subject to the laws of physics cannot be equal to or greater than the creator of those laws. is a cookie greater than the cook incoherent prattle. if god can be without beginning or end so can matter/energy. you answered your own query; six days to your god might be 8 billion years to mortal man. no i pointed out the error of believing god took millions of years. the word in hebrew for day in the book of genesis is yom and it can only be used to denote a 24 hour day. everytime it is used in the ot it means only a 24 hour day. show a source for that claim. is a sidereal day the same as a calendar day believe what you wish john and ill believe what i wish. one of us will find out the other one was right some day. merry christmas. budd the most fervent devotees of tolerance are invariably intolerant of everyone who speaks about god with certainty. a.w. tozer christian apologist if any think they are religious and do not bridle their tongues but deceive their hearts their religion is worthless. james 126 .
