Q: the burned out gynecologist / turned mechanic a gynecologist had become fed up with malpractice insurance and was on the verge of being burned out. hoping to try another career where skillful hands would be beneficial he decided to change careers and became an auto mechanic. he found out from the local technical college what was involved. he signed up for evening classes attended diligently and learned all he could. when the time for the practical exam approached the gynecologist prepared carefully for weeks and completed the exam with tremendous skill. when the results came back he was surprised to find that he had obtained a score of 150%. fearing an error he called the instructor saying i dont want to appear ungrateful for such an outstanding result but i wondered if there has been an error that needs adjusting the instructor said during the exam you took the engine apart perfectly which was worth 50% of the total mark. you put the engine back together again perfectly which is also worth 50% of the mark. the instructor went on to say i gave you an extra 50% because you did all of it through the muffler. a new shade tree mechanic is born. bill p. .

i was suggesting no such thing as far as to any specific person just a reason why web tv tends to be looked down upon. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving tbone i hope that you were not suggesting that i was a kid using webtv. for crying out loud i have a teenage kid preparing for collage and his mother is not ecstatic about it. brent master ase and gold certified chrysler technician .

thanks mark! figured out how to set up the groups thru the new server. for a long time i just didnt have the time ad then every time i logged on there were hundreds of messages... all the same subjects i see! torque wrenches filters and warranties. -michele ; -- bigironram wrote from nosey kfrei43@removethis.hotmail.com date 2/2/2005 1213 pm central standard time i may be wrong about him but his post just has too many of the signs. the dragon reference in the e-mail address is kinda creepy too. maybe hes deranged. michelle doesnt ring a bell. brent might be able to help us out here. oh yeah id managed to forget about good ol dd. brent has given good advice here in the past dd was less than useless. michelle used to use dodgeewe as her handle in here. sandman nate used to call her dodgebabe. there was another aoler in here who used to keep up with her named mark cant remember his handle right now. thats me i got her phone number and tried to call her at christmas...... got her machine need to try to call her again i am ahead on cellphone minutes this month might burn a few and try to call her again tomorrow i had an 89 dodge truck sold it about a year ago went to a nursing home for 6 months. feeling better moved to arkansas last summer and bought a 76 nova off ebay...... $600 drove it 4 monthsjust put gas oil and insurance in it sold it on ebay in december for $1095 guy drove it from arkansas to florida almost made it before a wheel bearing went out on him but he got it fixed got it home and is enjoying it currently have a 93 mercury cougar...... the leather trimmed seats and independent rear suspension feels good.... thsts the update for me but i still hang around here to learn .

hi i have a dodge ram 1500 reg cab 4x2 4.7. my truck was running fine this morning had about 1/8th of a tank of gas left so i went to the gas station. i put $25.00 worth of 87 octane in it and went along with my business. this evening i started getting some jerking in my truck. like some intake problem. so i get it home. 45 minutes later i decided to go to a buddies house and it did it again this time i just punched the throttle and about 2 minutes of this cleared the problem up. when i got to my buddies house we decided to go get something to eat and my check engine light come on and the problem persisted again i went to the local advance auto to see if they had a obd reader and they said they didnt have one but the guy recommened lucas fuel injector cleaner. now the problem seems to have gone away. i also took my filter off of my cold air intake and blew some air through it and made sure everything was tight on it. could i have got some bad gas and/or a clogged fuel injector i will take it to the dealer tomorrow and have then run the obd. i thought maybe it might be an air sensor went out causing the surging feeling. thanks for any advice. oh! and i just got my truck out of the body shop today and it was all nice and clean and shiny and now a check engine light....just frustrated this has been the first time it has acted up except for when my girlfriend didnt tighten the gas cap and i got a check engine light fot the evap sensor. john robertson .

there is nothing better that a technician loves than a customer that has a $1200 sound system $1500 lift kit and $1300 wheels and tires that says - i cant afford that that should be covered under warranty! read your f#$*!#g manual. its not covered. sell the radio and get it fixed! brent master ase & gold certified chrysler technician ya i got the picture you want all the money. give me a break! there is nothing i love more than a sucker with deep pockets. jam .
