swap to 360 <cont>was motor id help needed

Q: i guess i need to say that i will be looking for peak performance in 3rd at about 70 mph on the hwy. with enough extra oomph for the rockies not to make me sweat. i dont nececarily want to need to switch to a 360 if i can achieve my goals with a 318. it is a full size 1-ton van i will travel cross country at least once probally twice a year towing no trailers with about 1500 pounds of total cargo including passangers and fuel i dont think i can justify headers or a fancy crate motor i imagine i could have a stock block and heads rebuild and machined and retain the original alternatordistribuitor i had thought about a 4bbl intake and a nothing fancy carb everybodys got dreams anyway. ill get it running. what do dale earnhardt and pink floyd have in common......... thier last greatest hit was the wall! .
