speaking of spark plugs i just came across a picture of the v10 under the hood. how on earth do you change the plugs! i do not see how you can get to most the spark plugs on the ram v10 actually it isnt all that bad. #7 and #9 are the difficult ones. i usually lie across the engine compartment in the middle and reach down with my right arm to get those two plugs. the rest of them are easy. no... what i really want to know is how do people with hemis change out their plugs the coil pack for the #5 set of plugs is right under the brake booster. looking at that made my v10 plug changes look simple. .

tbone wrote how about the facts that he joined the guard to get out of going to nam and then didnt even complete his term there sounds like desertion to me. it must be nice when daddy has enough money to buy your way out of your duty and obligations. the presidents choice of the national guard like many americans during the viet nam era says nothing of his character but your statement says a lot about yours. jerry .

from tbone fatchance@noway.now you should have looked for two way tickets. i know that it sounds funny but two way tickets sell for much less than one way. a one way ticket from nc to nj was over $500 while a two way to the same airports with a saturday stay over was about $260 so i bought the two way and discarded the return ticket. oh well too late smart ;- i very rarely fly i much prefer to drive but this trip is too just too long for the time i have available but ill certainly keep it mind for next time. thanks again robert .

ray wrote hey im going to check out a 01 ram quad cab 4x4 tonight 5 pm est. and i have a couple qs for the group if i may. 1st are there any issues i should be aware of i.e. factory recalls or things going boom 2nd what kind of mpg do these get. 5.2 v-8 automatic trans. anyone tia. cheers ray i have a 01 ram qc with 5.2 engine and auto. mine is 2 wheel drive though. it has been the best truck ive ever owned. the only problem ive had with mine except for 2 mopar batteries being replaced is a bad sender for the fuel gauge. i had to have the truck towed to the dealer because it ran out of gas. the gas gauge showed over a 1/4 of a tank left. i average 16 mpg. bob -- that big fan is to cool the pilot. watch how much he sweats when it stops. .

adjust the shift linkage. thats the only thing you havent done. budd mac wrote hi all 92 dodge w150 4x4 318 magnum auto trans. over a year ago i started having starting problems turn the key and nothing would happen. no clicking no slow turn nothing at all. dash lights come on but would go out when key turned fully forward. seemed that running the shift selector up and down a couple times would help so i had the neutral safety switch replaced. didnt help. went to a different garage and they replaced the ignition lock cylinder this didnt help. same garage finally found a leaking freeze plug that had been leaking on the starter and was supposedly shorting it out. replaced the starter and that worked for a couple weeks. now back where i started less about $700 and still having same problem. again running the shift selector up and down once and it starts fine. anyone have any thoughts could it be a simple shift linkage issue if so shouldnt the garage have caught it a few hundred dollars earlier please remove nospam from email to reply or simply post. thanks -mac .
