ack!!!! dell....i will never ever own another dell product as long as i live. -- ------------------------------------------ laszlo almasi ----cool toys formerly carolina watercraft works ----mack daddy trailers ----ice angels roy wrote been thinking about one that can be moved from car to truck easily. anybody have any thoughts or opinions based on actual experience tia roy i had purchased a dell handheld pc axim x51 for use on trips to check websites monitor appointments check email and play music mp3 files. after i got it i decided to add a gps navigation kit from dell cost another $160 and included the navigation software suction cup holder gps receiver 12v charger and all connections. i found that the navigation system works pretty good although since the dell works on microsoft software it occassionally locks up and i have to reboot it. you can set the destination using your address book saved favorites address searches recent destinations and points of interest. you set the types of roads you want to use fastest toll interstate local and what type of display you want. it has adjustable volume but you can also run it through your car speakers i play the music from the dell on my speakers and the directions override the music when its time to turn. the only thing i dont like is that i got the lower cost version of the dell x51 and the screen isnt as bright in daylight as the more expensive x51v but its certainly usable. if you want a device that can provide multiple uses consider one of the handheld pcs with a gps nav system added. looks like dell is having a sale on the x51 right now and with the gps system added the cost is $478. john .

sadly your stupidity is that you are or at least are giving the appearance of trying to moderate an un-moderated group. the sad thing i find here is that a lot of people are trying to moderate the group. if you want a moderated invitation only group start one. if you are protecting the interest of the unknowing as it the case with snoballs that is all well and fine. but if it is just something that you simply dont like or believe why the fuck dont we all just ignore it yup thats what ive done. at one time this group was full of people that talked shared information and helped people. i would even go so far as to say that at one time each one of us though of the others as friends. then there was the problems w/lil jay then dd and god knows who else. that still happens most of the time. but every so often this happens what the fuck happen imho it started several years ago when some of the old-timers kinda drifted away. then a few dropped by and the drift of the group went to arguing about anything didnt really matter what the subject was. and it didnt take long to get to the name calling and deep jabs. i think that drove off some of the other guys that got tired of reading it. i admit that it was entertaining for awhile but it does get old. now it seems like its getting back to the friendly stage with the joking and info trading. of course there are exceptions to everything. denny .
