removing cup holder 1999 dodge ram pickup

Q: i am trying to remove the cup holder on my 1999dodge ram pickup. what i want to do is access my radio so i can install a rf cd changer. since i will need 12v both switched and unswiched power i was going to tap into the ligther and power adapters. will removing the cup holder give me access to that area behind the radio i removed the 4 screws that look like the hold the cupholder in place. but the unit does not look like its free. any ideas anyone have any pics on how to pull this part .

i am trying to remove the cup holder on my 1999dodge ram pickup. what i want to do is access my radio so i can install a rf cd changer. since i will need 12v both switched and unswiched power i was going to tap into the ligther and power adapters. remove the dash bezel no screws on a 99 - just grab a corner and pull it straight back then you can remove the two hex screws holding the radio in place. you can access the antenna connections this way as well as feed any wires and cables up from the bottom of the dash. remove the knee bolster for easier access to the underside of the dash. theres no need to remove the cup holders. .
