bdwill and lorne must be dealers dont try it youll do more harm than good. i have a 2001 durango and the ignition cylinder is jammed and no amount of wheel jiggling and key wiggling will get it to turn. so does anybody have any info on causes and solutions. im pretty sure im gonna have to change it at this point so if you know of any special tools or tips id appreciate it. .

coasty wrote i have a dodge raider with a broken spark plug in the engine. does anyone have any suggestions on how to get it out hopefully just the porcelain end is broke and the nut head is still there if so just us your spark plug socket with an extension to get some leverage. if you totally twisted the nut head off leaving the threads you will need to use an easyout tool to remove the rest of the plug. if the plug metal body is stuck in head even a easyout may not work because it takes a lot of force to break one off and it is likely cross threaded too. if this is the case your best bet is to remove head and try to drill plug out just under the size of the hole and collapse the old plug and remove it and check the threads. if you use a easyout and break that off too drilling will be a lot more difficult to do. -- posted using the http//www.autoforumz.com interface at authors request articles individually checked for conformance to usenet standards topic url http//www.autoforumz.com/dodge-broken-spark-plug-ftopict138574.html visit topic url to contact author reg. reqd. report abuse http//www.autoforumz.com/eform.phpp=671535 .

hello i replaced the front break on my 2002 dodge grant caravan with a new pair of pads with the rotors tuned last weekend. i checked and everything seemed to be done properly. but i noticed that when i applied the break especially when going downhill a kind of rattling noise came from one side of the break. this happened only when the break was applied somewhat heavily. i double-checked calipers rotors etc. and their installation and couldnt find nothing wrong. i would appreciate any advice or insights. thanks. - p .

drain plug in a troque converter any chysler techs out there to confirm this it smells like a big bull stinky. i have been wrong before. and you are wrong this time. mopar was for years been the only one to put drain plugs in the tc. -- max give a man a match and he is warm for a short while. light him on fire and he is warm for the rest of his life. drain plug in a troque converter any chysler techs out there to confirm this it smells like a big bull stinky. i have been wrong before. -- coasty remove the spooge to reply i change my own every 20k at a cost of about $26. you dont change all of your atf+4 for $26 unless you get one heck of a good deal on it. actually pretty close as i have a drain plug on my torque converter always tighten these securely... a lesson i learned the hard way one time. and i never said i used +4... no need to piss away $$$ when changing every 20k. .
