question for 97-01 ram truck owners

From : dodgevangogh

Q: hello again this is a weird but simple question for you 97-01 ram truck owners what are the dimensions length width height to top of cabof the top bed rails for a full sized truck pretty much the dimensions one would need when selecting a camper shell another question has anyone seen/tried the can-back or soft-top canvas shells the soft-top system is retractable as opposed to the fixed can-back system i was wondering about putting this on an older vehicle and the company told me to measure the dimensions of a newer 97-01 if i was to fabricate mounting rails i suppose they didnt just want to send me the specs so i could build my own unit. btw my van motor removal is coming along it now sits with the tranny on just the three mounts. i am waiting on a shop crane to borrow to finish. more on this later thanks eap .
