i think i need to add some auxilary lights to my 2500. id like to turn the night into day - what are the best lights and mounts that will do the job without going into hids there are stand-alone hids that will generate 1.5 million candlepower - but theyre a bit pricey i believe the most powerful light is still the dick cepek c-1000 light now sold by extreme suspensions http//www.extremesuspensions.com/lighting/lightingindex.htm i had two of these on my old truck and wow... they would throw light out as far as you could see. theyre not meant to operate with the vehicle sitting still however - they need airflow for cooling theyve got a little ram air scoop built into the housing. at 210w and 750000cp each they should do the trick. .

i think i need to add some auxilary lights to my 2500. id like to turn the night into day - what are the best lights and mounts that will do the job maybe a couple o aircraft landing lights 100 watt kcs or hellas are popular. quite a few people mount them on the cross bar in front of the radiator so they are actually out of sight behind the grill when they arent on. try over at dodgetalk.com you might have to sign up to see the pics and use the search function but its a very active dodge truck forum. take a look at threads like hella black magic behind the grill lets see all those behind the grill pics http//www.dodgetalk.com/forums/showthread.phpt=141886 and hella 500s installed behind the grill pics! http//www.dodgetalk.com/forums/showthread.phpt=75498 those and other threads do into detail as to how to install and wire them up. .

different more pliable and might work. just a thought.- hide quoted text - - show quoted text - man at this point anything is an option. though the seal is not after market as no one at least where i am including napa has that part it is oe. doubtful but could be a old stiff seal. heck ya gotta take it out anyway. hunt around for a nice new one.- hide quoted text - - show quoted text - huh you lost me which is not hard to do today. the seal is new just not aftermarket its dealer item only and had to order that one. to boot the damn thing cost me 60 bucks and that was at their cost as i am good friends with the parts guys. .
