sorry for the delay in my response it gets busy around here during the holidays. if the auto-start is a separate unit then it doesnt matter what make it is. my question was to find out if the alarm was an after market unit and who installed it. your problem is being caused by a bad connection on one of the alarms door lock splices. your truck uses what is known as a 5 wire alternating door lock wiring and has a master and slave switch. the master switch is in the drivers door. in this type of system the master switch supplies the only ground for the lock motors and both wires are grounded when the master switch is in its neutral position. because of this both of these wires must be cut at the master switch and ran threw the alarm in order for it to control the locks without being shorted out. if you have the install manual look in the lock wiring diagram for their 5 wire alternating door lock setup. in that diagram you should see the master switch and 4 wires going to it. it will show two wires going to each side of the switch and an indication that the wire is to be cut between each pair of these alarm wires. you need to get the color codes of these alarm wires described in the diagram especially the one closest to the switch on each side. next you need to find the alarm controller. once you find it locate the wiring harness from it that contain
