i dont have a torque wrench but i can sufficiently tighten a bolt or nut by feel with no problems. is a torque wrench a life-or-death requirement to do this im thinking in particular of http//ramchargercentral.com/boards/index.phpboard=&action=howtoshow;id=13 this shows a complete gear change politics the gentle art of getting votes from the poor and campaign funds from the rich. .

lsd wont make it undriveable just makes it a pain in the ass to apply power through a corner on ice. its a very straight-forward install - you shouldnt have any surprises. oh no tom his truck will become undriveable and useless after he installs a lsd!!!!!!!!! well at least according to another thread on here!!!! bg and if you believe that the sky is yellow and the sun is blue making a sleeve of paper to put in the seals till the spline passes through is another good idea. politics the gentle art of getting votes from the poor and campaign funds from the rich. .

max horseshit. a statement full of maybes and possblies.... go take an introductory physics course then come back when you *really* know it all. clem as did i mentioned *external* forces of everyday driving that cannot be ignored that gives the *appearance* that one wheel is favored. we i never said that the differential *by design* favors one side...in that regard i agree with you. imagine a truck mounted by the fan on a support 10 feet above the ground. now start the engine. what happens...yes since the fan cannot spin the truck does. newtons 3rd law...remember equal and opposite reactions just because the truck is firmly planted on terra firma does not mean that force goes away it cant so there is torsion on the truck axis perpendicular to the flywheel and opposite to its rotation. that torsion as slight as it may be will cause one tire to have slightly more traction than the other when the surfaces are identical under each tire. if the engine always spins in the same direction mine does the same tire will always *appear* to be the drive tire. --mike incorrect. look deeply into the idea.......... more bullshit... pull on the waders..... there is more to a vehicles motion than purely the differential. exactly so its an external influence on the differential. a differential cannot will not and never has favored either axle. add outside circumstances and forces and bingo one wheel spins more easily. and its not always the right side. im sure you get all this but youre being anal about that favored word. wrong. its those of you who think as differentail has any method of favoring an axle who are anal about it. im presenting facts. so if it has generally less traction on a relatively even traction surface for both wheels the one that is pushed down on less will generally be the spinner. horseshit. a statement full of maybes and possblies.... if the traction on both wheels is exactly not maybe not close not similar not relatively not anything but exactly the same neither axle will be favored. add any condition weight bias traction tire condition water ice snow idiot behind the wheel and the differential may spin one or the other axle. which axle spins depends on conditions. max life liberty and the pursuit of any jackass that threatens it. embellished usnavy slogan .
