Q: but yeah what tom said..the factory ones seem to be the best. i wonder if one can go buy them and put them on. one can... about $220-$240 on ebay compare to $90-$100 as a factory option .

i saw an article in the where they were trying to re-establish the bunny population in maine iirc. im surprised he hasnt left to help them out already. -- budd cochran ummmmmm........ maybe he has brought his carrot up to maine and isnt chatting about it. baby bunny support isnt cheap these days its more than just a head of lettus or two. wait a minute!!! i met up with ol fur face in maine a couple of years ago. he was up there for a week before i found his fat ass and he was real tired. i think he maaaay have something to share. bfg roy fmb .

okay last time i had reported code 0237 using autozones code checker. today i used the on-off code checking. it flashed 2 codes. p1765 and p1693 in that order. different codes than what autozones machine displayed. looking those up it comes to p1765 open or short in the transmission relay control circuit. p1693 the companion engine control module has shown a fault. this is starting to me look like big money thanks tom. gb anyone know where the transmission relay control circuit is located .

hello to all. have a 97 dakota sport. been hearing-and feeling- kind of a rubbing type noise coming from the front passenger side when making right turns only. it happens at slow speeds only when turning very sharply to the right but if im driving faster on the highway at 55mph or above i only have to turn a tiny bit to the right to get the same noise. never makes any noise turning left. i had the drivers side bearing replaced a year ago but not the passenger side. any ideas what this might be is it the passenger side bearing starting to go very puzzling. thanks in advance for any help. jim. see what i mean..every other post ;- .

yep i checked for the factory ones when i was purchasing the truck. it would have had to be a special order truck as the dealers dont order any of their normal stock 1500 with tow mirrors. something about demand. so i checked into having the dealer install them and they wanted a little over $500 installed. i wanted cloth bucket seats with console and that alone made it very difficult to find and darn near impossible in houston. everything in stock had the 40/20/40 split bench seat. i ended up finding a truck about 100 miles from home in hempsted. i only tow some 4 or 5 times a year whenever i can sneak in some vacation. cipa makes some nice ones for a 2005 but they tell me they wont work on a 2006. just bought my 1st dodge truck after 15+ years of gmc. on the gmc i had some nice slip on mirrors for towing made by cipa but they are not made for the dodge. cipa does have some other models such as the 11960 that are supposed to work on a dodge but before i jump off center i thought id look around for the voice of experience. you know experience is what you get when what you get is not what you wanted. so before i learn the hard way... so what are most folks using .
