the regulator in the modern dodge is part of the computer. connecting the battery backwards may have damaged it. does the truck run -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving i have a 1999 dodge durango and my daughters friend jumped batteries and the put the cable on the wrong pole + to - and tried to start the car i and messed it up i changed the alternator but the dodge still dont charge the battery can some one tell me what the problem mite be thanks pat .
