think mine is flush with the head. may try to drill it out next summer. it doesnt bother me that much for noise. a friend told me i would cause the cylinder to lean out which i cant understand it is the exhaust manifold after all. well yes but also remember the engine was designed to operate with a certain amount of backpressure. with the exhaust leak youve lowered backpressure which will let some of the a/f mixture escape during the time the valves are overlapped. the lower the rpms the more pronounced the effect of reduced backpressure. also a manifold leak will draw in outside air as the exhaust pulses go thru the manifold. the oxygen sensor will pick up this extra oxygen and richen up mixture to the point you could get a fault code. denny .

and i thought my puter was acting up again. but im not adding much as im gone to detroit for a couple of days. ill be so much smarter when i get back..... really!! denny well well our furry friend is off to detroit for a few days. i wonder why although he claims hell be so much smarter when he gets back. how to spin this... this should be good.... ... figure to get smarter ole fur face had to have been smart in the first place. so we know that aint going to happen. but im cute and huggable.. thats a reach heard from a reliable source that there are a number of things going on in the motor city that he may have waddled into. one is a advanced egg painting course for rabbits in preparation for easter he isnt advanced enough for that. you do realize the eb and santa compare lists dont ya. keep this up and ole sc will deliver a size xxx thong for yer present. that would be waaaay too small for your furry ass. also there is a gay rabbit convention going on. do ya think our furry assed buddy has gone over to the other side of the street i know he frequents his local home depot store all the time. it is understood that he has been tossed out repeatedly. you could always wear your christmas present to go get a box of nails... im still wondering how you got this info that queers are hanging out at the depot. did you get hit on vbfg i told ya there was an article in a sorta underground paper. it told of how gay folk would get dressed up in work clothes and tool belts and cruise the aisles. take a look at their hands do they look like they work with them looks like the village people. it went on to say that many of the employees were gay as well. not that the rabbit always buys stuff from the bottom shelf. which really makes me wonder why you read about gays where they hang-out and how they dress in underground papers. is there something you need to tell us denny ps. hows your home improvement projects coming .

every two years is the recommended interval and i believe that was started by chrysler. but most dealerships will look at you funny when you ask them to do it and yes you can do it yourself but it is a hassle especially with 4 wheel abs. a buddy of mine took a 96 ford probe he bought used to the dealer to have them flush the system and they told him it didnt have to be done. he politely informed them it was recommended by ford right in his owners manual. needless to say he never went back there. -todd .

i did it my self but i was lucky. none of the broken bolts were flush with the head. i.e. their was some bolt sticking out to grip and work them out. dont use exhaust gaskets i did the first time nothing but trouble. just clean the head and manifold good. make sure they are flush with each other when you reassemble. first time i used oem bolts. last time i used grade 8 black from hardware store still holding. -- ----------------------------------------- billy k 95 ram 2500 c 4x4 95 dakota sport 05 jeep x 85 dodge van 70 merc montego did you do it yourself or what did the dealer charge you i have done it twice in 197000 miles -- ----------------------------------------- billy k 95 ram 2500 c 4x4 95 dakota sport 05 jeep x 85 dodge van 70 merc montego and he will be right if you have him do the work. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving

ok i might be tasting my foot here but on my 95 dakota the rf is 1 closer to rear than the left front. i remember back in 98 a tire shop tried to get me to let them repair this dangerous situation. after a little research i found that this was factory. i went to dealer and got a copy of the dimension sheet. clearly shows rf 1 off set from lf. -- ----------------------------------------- billy k 95 ram 2500 c 4x4 95 dakota sport 05 jeep x 85 dodge van 70 merc montego caster is the foward and backward tilt of the wheel even if you could move the balljoint backwards you will still have a caster problem. one wheel would be in front of the other and if you can picture that you would see that the vehicle would be trying to go into a circle. the vehicle would then be tracking glenn beasley chrysler tech . 222 307987 d11df.6234$4c5.1009313@twister.southeast.rr.com no problem -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving thanks guys. that was the problem. i replaced the resister block located on the left side of the fire wall near the ac. a new one only cost $9.35.....what a nice suprise! thanks again. .

due to collision damage right front lower ball joint has been pushed back about 3cm 1 inch torsion bar is also warped a little bit. as a result my rf caster is now negative lf is ok. it looks like lbj is mounted solid to the frame and cannot be pushed back without some heavy machinery - please correct me if im wrong - but i could move ubj backwards to correct the caster problem. will this have any unwanted side-effects any other ideas tia peter caster is the foward and backward tilt of the wheel even if you could move the balljoint backwards you will still have a caster problem. one wheel would be in front of the other and if you can picture that you would see that the vehicle would be trying to go into a circle. the vehicle would then be tracking glenn beasley chrysler tech .

just bought a 1996 1500 sb with a black tonneau cover on it that i dont want. cover looks nice and shiney but does have some scratches in it that you have to get close to see. i can send you pictures if youre interested. cover will fit a 1994-2001 sb1500 and also fits 2002 2500/3500 short bed. i am asking $100 and it is negotiable. we can arrange for delivery or pick up. shipping would be fairly expensive as it is a heavy solid cover. all hardware is included and everything fuctions properly including the locking mechanism. cover is located just east of charlotte north carolina. please send inquires to martogbittner@hotmail.comdo not use the goodyear e-mail as i no longer work there or you can call me at 704-562-8478. thanks marty .
