check engine light on code p 0037 checked gas cap did not remove the light any ideas. contrary to popular belief the check engine light isnt synonymous with a gas cap loose light. in your case p0037 refers to the heater circuit for the downstream sensor after the cat on the drivers side bank is showing a low voltage. this could be a problem with the o2 sensor itself or with the wiring. .
