Q: lol i never said that budd has not contributed or doesnt know anything that would be him saying that to me. by his own admission he has been dealing with trolls since his second day which translates into starting shit with newbies as i doubt there were many trolls back in the beginning. after over 8 years he had better contributed more than i did in about 3. the one big difference here is that budd can say whatever he wants and right or wrong at most all he will get is corrected. if i or anyone else that is not part of the core group says anything that is not dead solid perfect with absolutely no way to misinterpret it they hear a lot of shit and most of it coming consistently from certain people and i will not make accusations as to who. i dont know which is worse; your spin on the facts or the exaggeration of untruths. the difference tom is simple. if im corrected by someone with knowledge i recognize as superior to mine i accept and learn from it. otoh you will cuss fight whine spin lie and anything else you can when corrected. its called respect. if a newbie poster spouts crap like you have then yeah theyll catch it. im usually the quickest because i havent for health reasons worked as many hours as have some others. so sue me. you neednt make any accusations youve made them so many times in the past its become your mantra. you call us the regulars. who are we were a small group of mechanically experienced individuals that have satisfied other regulars of our abilities mechanically and our intents toward the group as for the tone and mood of the group. the funny part is you could have been a regular even with limited skills as mine are on newer trucks if you had just been a little more mature about being corrected. thats where the problem lies for you you dont accept correction. as someone with one of the lowest signal-to-noise ratios here it would be in your best interests to leave this particular argument alone. you dont want to compare your posting record to budds.... it wouldnt even be close. well now thats all due to a particular point of view isnt it. yes budd does try to help and i never said otherwise. i have cut way back on trying because im just tired of hearing shit from some people who claim that i am wrong and when asked to back up what they say cant do it. he also tend to attack first if the poster does not agree with his ideas. but if you compare his posting record to starting shit with mine he is no better. and you just proved my point in the previous paragraph. maybe im sort of the sergeant at arms of the group the one willing to test the intentions of noisy radical or bad info posters. if so then youve been the one unwilling to accept corrections by anyone else. iirc the first time i tried to suggest a correction to you you attacked me and set the tone for our future conversations. budd .

hello. i am new on to this site but hope someone can help me. i have a 1997 dodge dakoda sport that wont start on its own. at work is when it first gave me problems and so i would have someone jump start me and the engine would start just fine. for a couple of days i wouldnt have any problems and then all of a sudden it wouldnt start again and i would have to get it jump start again. at first i thought about just not running the a/c which know was draining the battery. but thats not the problem. so i went to wal-mart and got another battery. well now the light in the cab is on bright but as soon as i turn the key to start the engine the light goes dim and i can hear the fuel pump relay clicking loudly and then fading out. nothing out of the engine and seems the battery voltage is dropped. i jump start the engine with my wifes van. in order to get it started i would have to press the gas pedel and it would start and then i would have slowly take my foot off the pedel if i take it off to fast then the engine would stop. but after that the engine would start and run just fine. once the engine was running i unplugged the positive lead on the battery and the engine would stay running. i just cant figure this out without paying $60 just to have it put on the computer i dont know if i was sold a weak battery or if it could be the starter but if so why do i have to press the gas pedel when i jump start it. i just had the fuel pump filter and modulator replaced less than 2 yrs ago so i am hoping to rule that out. any suggestion is welcome. thank-you. .

amen. well said. budd ill second that! mike on sun 5 sep 2004 113241 -1000 dave --@--.com wrote http//www.catsprn.com/letterofapology.htm dave watching the video footage of 911 these past few days has reminded me of the depth of emotions that i felt that day and the months afterward. the celebrations of next week will hopefully cause more citizens of the world and lazy americans to reflect upon what happened. people some on this ng need to realize that this war isnt for oil it isnt against arabs or muslims. it is a war against terrorism. i hope that we offer our support in any way that we can to the russians to help end terrorism there too. what happened there last week is no different than what happened here on 911. it is simply wrong and it is time to stand against it. .

on mon 06 sep 2004 141417 gmt bc brian brianobarker@hotmail.com wrote we are thinking of getting a new dakota quad with the 4.7 v8 5 speed auto tranny and 3.91 rear end. mostly for solo driving but also to tow our 23 trailer that weighs in around 3500 lbs wet and has a gvwr of 5000lbs. some times we take long trips like from bc canada to louisianna or southern california. anyone have experience or opinions on this truck. thanks brian brian.. i really wouldnt recommend it... i dont know if the new dakotas have a higher tow max than they did in 01 but i doubt it.. in 01 the dak with 4.7l auto and 3.55 gears had a max of 5150 lbs if you had a 410 rear end it was 6450... a long trip with a truck thats so close to max weight figure 500 to 1000 pounds of gear/food/toys/etc. and with that size wheelbase would be pulling its heart out on long trips.. our 26 trailer is about 5000# wet and probably 6000# with all of our pots pans dishes food chairs table etc. that it collects before a trip.. we considered trying to tow it with our dakota and decided that we like our dak way too much to tear it up like that so we added a used ram to our fleet.. ymmv mac .
