Q: if it helps on my 2001 ram and my 2004 ram the canister is located on pax side undercarriage. when the check engine light illuminated on my 2001 ram a bud told me to replace the short hose attached to the cannister. sure enough it worked. good luck. ed h. wrote on a 99 there are 2 mounted on the outside right frame rail just behind the cab. subj line sez all. where can i find the vapor cannister on the 97 ram 1500 pickup w/318 engine p-0441 code at extended idle thnx .

found one used is it a simple unbolt replace and re-bolt or does the 60/40 split seat use different points to fasten the seat to the cab thanks for any help. should be a direct bolt-in... they wouldnt make cabs with different seat mounting points. .

fire a .223 or 5.56 round. i added a scope and a bi-pod to it to sorta reach out a bit. look here www.bushmaster.com we have a new gun shop in town and i stopped in yesterday to check it out and they have a few bushmasters in there. had on with the a2 upper the expandable stock and about a 5 barrel. it wasnt bad feeling nice balance once i got the stock adjusted right. they wanted 1250 for it but man flash backs to a m16 came back real quick! jamming double feeds etc.. i had given it some thought but never really cared for the m-16s when i was in. i wasnt overly thrilled with them years ago. i had one of the early ones jam about got me killed. now there isnt that problem either way. ive put well over 4k rounds through mine without any trouble. yeah being an us army armorer i have had the dis pleasure of playing with the m16 the a1 and a2 version. in addition to other fun toys. i have just never cared for them in general but hey when they are made by matel! gotta go for what works for ya. i enjoy it you can go through a bunch of 30 round mags and not feel liked you have been worked over. truth be known since i picked up the sig 239 the ar hasnt been used much. of course the 239 is my ccw so i spend a lot more time shooting it. .
