plows should have a pressure relief valve between the lt. & rt turn cylinders so the plow angles when you hit hard. otherwise you will blow cylinders etc. this is probably a really dumb question - but - will using a snow plow cause the frame of a 2500 to wear or work loose plowing snow will increase the wear of various parts of your truck. to the frame imo no. im thinking about unequil loading of the right and left sides of the frame rails due to hitting snow loads unequally with the plow..... the pistons on the plow would break before you damaged the frame. but if you are push like a fool at 40mph and hit a unmovable object like a hidden curb all bets are off. roy .
