ever since the release of the new cummins common rail i have been repairing many of its issues with a new injector or two. a majority of the injectors i have replaced were either in cylinders 3 or 4. i just wanted to know from others if this is a common issue or maybe localized to the region i work. any feedback on this issue is appreciated as i am looking for the cause of these failures rather than the correction of them. brent master ase and gold certified chrysler technician i just bought a new 2005 3500 with the turbo 600. ill let ya know if something happens.. whats the mileage range of the failures -- moparman---remove clothes to reply! --scud coordinates 32.61204 north 96.92993 west-- .

i wouldnt want your pompous ass touching anything i own especially with a metal tool. i do my own wrenching. it doesnt take a brain surgeon to read a maintenance manual. after all they all have pictures. beekeep ------------------------------------------------------- thats because you still believe everything on a vehicle can be repaired with a wrench. it sounds like you need pictures. my post was simply to ask why people are willing to pay twice for repeated care in the doctors office but raise hell like wild cats when a part fails twice on their truck. you never answered the post; why do people pay for repeated attempts to solve their health issues yet you refuse to pay a technician for their attempts. even with my free doctor visits at my wifes office i still have to visit internal specialists for a health concern i have. after spending many thousands of dollars and being no closer to the answer i have a right to ask these questions. the doctors simply want me to pay for the visit suggest that i take even more expensive tests with no promise of gain and know i will come back again. how would you like your vehicle repaired that way as the service writer says; we need to run this $400 test on your vehicle though we can not promise it will help us repair your truck. would you be comfortable with that response regarding your vehicle and money . . . . than you shouldnt be comfortable with it regarding your health and money. my point of the post is to show that customers are extremely unfair and ruthless to service departments while allowing other professions to treat them unfair and expensively without questioning it. brent master ase and gold certified chrysler technician .
