with my 2000 you pull the black dash bezel out carefully it covers from the stereo to the light switch. then remove 2 bolts and gently pull the radio out. unclip the wires from the back of the stereo plug in your adapter wires you did buy an adapter kit right mount the aftermarket stereo with the faceplate kit into the stock stereos hole replace the 2 bolts and tap the bezel back in place and youre done.. oh yea dont pull my trick and forget to plug in the antenna.. its embarrassing ;- im trying to install an aftermarket stereoin my 2001 durango and im not sure how to get the old stereo out. is it just clips or are there screws somewhere. if there are screws i cant find them. .
