changing the U joint

Q: i have never done it but i have heard its relatively easy.. can someone tell me what i need to do and look out for thanks jc .

you have to remove the spring clips and force the x out in that direction. i use two sockets and a big c clamp emphasis on big .. the small socket to push and the big socket for the receiving end and using the clamp and the small socket push the x into the bigger socket. then pull the cap and bearings off both ends of the x and slip it apart .. assembly is to reverse the process .. slip x into yolk add caps and bearings .. press together with clamp. install spring clip and zirks. try not to lose any of the needle bearings and dont get too much dirt in the cap .. clean things up real good before assembly. i have never done it but i have heard its relatively easy.. can someone tell me what i need to do and look out for thanks jc .
