dont buy the cheap plugs or the cheap wires. dont buy the special plugs either. you are best off with oem stuff from the dealer.. replace the plugs and wires one at a time so you dont get em confused. hth carl anything special i need to know before changing plugs and wires on 99 sport with a 360 .

ty. lets hope his tune-up goes smoothly. carl yep! great method carl! nice advice the opr should be good to go now! er nope no need to unhook the battery. just be sure the key is off and out of the ignition and the engine is cold. i agree with eggraid change the distributor cap and rotator if you have them while you are at it. change the cap and rotor first with the old wires then replace the wires. to change the cap/rotator unsnap the old cap move it out of the way a little keeping its orientation. slide off the old rotator off and slide the new rotator on facing the same way. dont worry the rotator is keyed. snap the new cap in place. transfer the wires one at a time to the exact terminal location on the new cap that the wire came from on the old cap. after that start your truck and make sure it runs smooth not for long you dont want to change hot plugs!. this is to troubleshoot in case you missed anything. after that change the plugs and wires as described before. hth carl thanks carl! i was wondering because my neighbor said i needed to unhook the battery because of the fuel injection system if i really needed to do this. .

anything special i need to know before changing plugs and wires on 99 sport with a 360 i have done this a few times and i cant recall having too much difficulty. the hardest part was getting a good angle on the rear plugs...but with the right tools you should be fine. keep your eye on the the wires and make sure that you dont put them on the cap wrong...i always pull the wires one at a time. you really should change the cap too while you are in there...that is a true tune up. egg raid .
