i know exactly what you mean. my truck isnt going to be a show truck either but the wifes new car was making it look a bit old in comparison so i figured i should at least try ... thanks for the info. greg ok if you insist but it is very shade-tree. on my 95 i took this back to black liquid stuff for putting on tires to make them nice and black and rubbed it on the bumper cover. after it dried i sprayed it with some other kind of aerosol tire dressing stuff. since then i spray it about 2-3 times a year with that tire dressing stuff and it keeps it looking ok. take your pick on the brand i just pick up whatever happens to look good at the time. i try to keep my work truck looking nice but it will never be a show truck if you know what i mean. denny come on someone must have some suggestions here i know that there are a few model years from 96 to 99 or later that had this same problem ... hi ive got a 97 ram 1500 and the top part of the front bumper is supposed to be black but it is so faded that it looks like its grey now. i know that all of these trucks have the same issue so there must be something that can bring the color back. what are people using to fix this thanks. greg please reply to the email address as well if you dont mind. .

the resin im buying is made to use with foam heres a quote from a vendor i emailed. west system epoxy a105 resin with a206 hardener would do the job nicely. metering pumps are available as well as a free users manual. do not use polyester sometimes called fiberglass resin as it will melt the foam. should be okay how ridgid is the flat panel *********** i use the polyester resin making or modifying parts. there are types of foam that will work with it the type that florists use is one example. flat panel can be made with as many layers of mat as you want & therefore can be flimsy or very ridgid. reinforcing thin panels with foam cardboard or any number of other composits can make it ridgid & still very light. if you already have the foam & resin all you need is the mat. i have a roll - where are you paul aka tha driver giggle cream - it makes dessert *funny*! .

theyre most likely using a $39.95 impact gun right off of the walmart shelf. those guns are made for light duty use. the tire shop that i go to uses torque sticks kind of like an extension only it absorbs exsess torque when it hit its given range. you should always tighten the lugs to the factory spec. wayne .

ok hears the deal. the truck idles rough especially when cold but doesnt have any trouble starting and when i accelerate or rev the engine and then get off the gas the engine bogs and the rpm drops very low before returning to normal sometimes even stalls. eats gas too alomst seems like its running rich. vacuum diagnostic doesnt show anything to be wrong with the engine internally. doesnt burn any oil ond compression test showed the rings and valves are good. brand new catalytic converter fuel pump coolant temp sensor water pump egr valve pcv valve fairly new plugs and wires and new 160 degree thermostat. cant find any problems with the fuel injectors no vaccuum leaks and no ignition problems as near as i can figure. my uncle says maybe the cooler temp thermostat is throwing the computer off and causing it to run rich seems like a good idea but any other advice would be greatly appreciated. .

any. my circuit that controls the following items is not working all that youve listed are powered off the iod ignition off draw fuse - thats the one with the yellow cradle around it. are you sure you checked it test for voltage at each terminal of that fuse socket and make sure you have voltage on one of them. if not figure out why should be straight off the 120a fusible link in the pdc. if so re-re-re-verify the fuse in there replace if necessary and see whats what. btw my power seats work w/ no problem they are listed on the schematics as being on the same circuit as the interior lights. nope - different circuit. the power seats are powered from a 30a circuit breaker that also comes straight off the battery - not through the iod circuit which is a 10a fuse i believe. .
