Q: 12/16/04 248 p.m. second sentence states hes a mechanical and electrical engineer or did it come from cracker jacks whatever. fine. im just trying to prevent another t-bone in the group. -- budd whats the difference between a bad golfer and a bad skydiver one goes whack darn and the other goes darn whack. budd cochran wrote he is spouting considerable erroneous information based on his claimed electrical engineering degree and supposed experience. thats very interesting budd ................ maybe you might explain the difference between steves supposed experience and your supposed experience and how we mortals in a group can tell the difference in a typed post that is submitted here. btw he never said he had a electrical engineering degree. he never even mentioned degree though i assume he has a few. did you even read his post.............. blowing your own horn all the time doesnt make a person a professional or even knowledgeable. i still think his post was well written and polite. i for one appreciated it for a change. you can think as you please. jerry .

yer spoiled is all. vbg until the lebaron all i ever had at best was 4 windows down at 75 mph. i drove a 65 dart gt 225 3-on-the-tree from in to co in 77 that had lost all the tension on the oil rings due to a severe overheating. when i bought the car at 90000 miles the kid i bought it from claimed to have overhauled it but failed to mention the holes in the radiator. so on the drive to a friends house to do a few minor things it got hot enough to quit running. cracked the head when my friend put cold water into the radiator with the engine not running . . but then he was a chevy fan . . . new junkyard head didnt even do a valve job! new gasket lashed the valves and drove on. the trip to co took a quart of oil every 90 miles or so at 55 mph but we got there just fine. thats the engine that always burned a little oil had all the top rings broken yet carried 145 psi compression at cranking rpm and lasted 340000 miles. yeah a really poorly designed engine. i figure the kid did a ring and bearing job but failed to cut the ridge out so there went the top rings. in 81 that same engine but now with 190000 miles on it in a 65 valiant towed about 6000 lbs of u-haul trailer over monarch pass 11000 ft to co from ut. heck i even slept on the front bench seat of that old dart two nights on that trip from in . . . ^d -- budd whats the difference between a bad golfer and a bad skydiver one goes whack darn and the other goes darn whack. those old narrow a bodies are fun cars . . this one is a 225 3spd on the column 13 wheels. neat car. four door. its a great around town car but i think its days as an over the road car are limited. its just not as comfortable with no a/c or od. max life liberty and the pursuit of any jackass that threatens it. embellished usnavy slogan .
