tbone wrote yes i do and so would you if you were not so damn politically biased. this is that very idiotic right wing shit that bushbaby was talking about. lol! the left does not support this war and does not support our troops. calling for an immediate pull out is not helping or wanting success. in all the lefts rhetoric regarding this war please tell us all what part of it directly supports our troops to succeed funding perhaps sending more troops what is the left visibly talking about in support of our troops lol fox reported on it as well. i guess that they are a left wing station as well. they report both sides far more often than cnn or cbs. so to you it must be ok to torture pows and i guess that its ok for them to do it to ours right miles. putting underware on a detainees head is not torture...but to the liberal left it surely is. the left yelled about that one but said very little about our troops being burned dragged and hung from a bridge. ya the left supports our troops...good grief. .

you probably cooked the resistor block. i dont know where it is on the dakota probably near the glove compartment. just follow the wires from the switch sounds easier than it is and check it for damage. chances are if you smelled plastic this is the cause and there is a good chance its failure will be fairly obvious. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving i have become really confused over this problem. the heater blower in my 93 dakota quit this past weekend. just before it quit i smelled burning plastic/rubber in the cab. i figured the fan just burned up. so i replaced the fan. didnt fix the problem. checked the fuse...fuse was fine...replaced anyway. replaced the blower switch in the dash....still didnt fix the problem any ideas what to do next i was reading somewhere about fusable links. could this be the problem if so where the heck are they located. thanks .

on thu 10 nov 2005 030332 gmt tbone tbonenospam@nc.rr.com wrote that is not always the cause and on the 98 iirc you would also have a speedometer jumping issue. thats correct. my speedo wouldnt register anything til i got over 20 mph when the sensor first went and gradually got worse over time. kinda inconvenient too - at the time most of my driving was on a military base where the speed limits were 25 mph or less. greg .

i have a 1996 ram 1500 318 auto 4x2 with very high mileage 268000. it runs very good however i was wondering if it might be time to replace the fuel injectors just as a precaution. does anyone have any thoughts on this also does anyone know of a place to get the best price on a new set. thanks david .

thanks. ill give that a shot. is there any other things that might cause these problems that someone with little or no automotive knowledge such as myself would be able to easily repair .

thanks for the info. this blade is for the tractor i have and has wheel weights to go with it. i already have the rear axle mounts. i figure on using it to clear the sidewalk basically as a time saver. -- max im willing to bet ya that when its all said and done you could have shoveled it in the same time. you gotta count the time getting the thing to start and dicking around with it as shovel time..bg denny .

most of the time they dont even look and in nj they never shut the vehicle off while i lived there so they have no way to tell but they do step on the e-brake to make sure that both the brake light and the e-brakes work. my truck has had the abs computer unplugged for 3 years now and has yet to fail the safety inspection and it stops much better now that it is unplugged. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving and when it comes time for an emision inspection they wont do it with any warning lights on. and if any half-competent inspector looks at it hell notice that there is no abs indicator lamp during the lamp check when first turning on the ignition and you fail the safety portion of that inspection. .

there are two things that you can do. the first one is to fix the problem. the second is to unplug the abs computer. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving the abs light and parking brake light are stuck in the illuminated mode. been that way for nearly two years. is the any solution to this. i have thought about pulling the fuse but that turns off other needed warning lights. i have a 98 ram slt .
