brake leak between the caliper and brake line

Q: tom i wrote earlier about my truck miss-firing when the fuel get low strange problem. i am not clear as to where the hose you are talking about is located inside the fuel tank or outside if it is part of the fuel pump assembly shouldnt that have been replaced as a part of the fuel pump assembly i understand that what should be replaced isnt always done by some mechanics and this may be the case. i am just trying to be sure i understand what i am looking for when i drop the tank and check-out/fix my problem. again thank for your help david .
