axle spindle nut,1500 4x4 1994

Q: need to replace u jointsseal on front axle. already tried mapp gashah.got oxyacet todayheated till almost red.used breaker barsocket and 4 foot steel bar....snapped breaker bar.do i cut it offcareful with threads and replace nutlock washer thats only thing i know to do.oh yea got 225000 miles on itsame motortransetc. .

hammer and chisel nut .when you get close to threads aim chisel away from axel by chiseling into the hole side ways forcing the nut to crack need to replace u jointsseal on front axle. already tried mapp gashah.got oxyacet todayheated till almost red.used breaker barsocket and 4 foot steel bar....snapped breaker bar.do i cut it offcareful with threads and replace nutlock washer thats only thing i know to do.oh yea got 225000 miles on itsame motortransetc. .
