another one bites the dust

Q: just for the record. my 01 ram 1500 4x4 will be receiving a new trans this week. the old one turned itself into a pile of metal shavings in the bottom of the oil pan. the only good thing about it is im not doing it through the dealer. they will just put the same crap back in the thing. i went to a trans guy i trust. hes upgrading my trans to a more heavy duty package like a 3/4 ton. the truck does have over 100k on the odometer so i guess its not that bad. i bought it in february. im pretty sure the dealer knew the trans was going to go thats why it was so cheap. .
