anybody ever had this happen several times ive had a little trouble getting it into gear but dismissed it as being tight because its new. other people have had this problem. nhtsa was tracking it for a while... see their site http//www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/problems/defect/defectsearch.cfm action number pe04039 also read about it on dtr http//www.dieseltruckresource.com/dev/showthread.phps=&threadid=50173 http//www.dieseltruckresource.com/dev/showthread.phps=&threadid=50234 http//www.dieseltruckresource.com/dev/showthread.phps=&threadid=39925 http//www.dieseltruckresource.com/dev/showthread.phps=&postid=479699 id take it back to the dealer explain what happened and have them adjust the shift linkage. if they claim ignorancce of the problem show them the nhtsa document. i would also suggest using the emergancy brake next time! .
