nathan thats what those 1 liter pepsi bottles are for. - if you are on the right stuff and empty the bottles into the tank you might be able to make it all the way to nc. bob az .

if this is the rig you were setting up with a slide-in camper and pulling an rv behind it youre likely to need at least 200 gallons of fuel to make that trip adding 1600 lbs to your load + the weight of the tank. are you for real nathan@nospam.com writes i want to add an additional fuel tank to my truck but due to a slide-in camper i cant use one that fits in the bed. i need an under-bed fuel tank the bigger the better. does any such tank exist id like to be able to drive from montana to north carolina without having to stop for fuel. thanks .

camper i cant use one that fits in the bed. i need an under-bed fuel tank the bigger the better. does any such tank exist id like to be able to drive from montana to north carolina without having to stop for fuel. 2200 miles.... at max gvwr close to max gcvwr getting maybe 12mpg - 184 gallons less the stock 35 gallon tank. you want an additional 150 gallons and thats with 0 reserve in an under-bed tank.... thats right about 20 cu.ft. of space. no way in hell can you fit that under your truck. the best you can hope for is to get a replacement for your stock tank. transferflow makes a 56 gallon replacement tank. you can then get an aux. tank to go in place of a spare tire not something id recommend however to hold about 45 gallons or so... thatll give you 100 gallons rounding off letting you make the trip with one fuel stop somewhere in illinois. the extra 450lbs. of fuel youd be carrying over stock is obviously something that needs to be factored in... you really should get an fl50 .

i think you really need to dump that thing and buy a kenworth or peterbuilt conventional with an extended sleeper. with its twin stainless steel 200 gallon external tanks huge dual tires massive ground clearance fifth wheel and 8 wheel drive you should be set to go ;- -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving if this is the rig you were setting up with a slide-in camper and pulling an rv behind it youre likely to need at least 200 gallons of fuel to make that trip adding 1600 lbs to your load + the weight of the tank. are you for real nathan@nospam.com writes i want to add an additional fuel tank to my truck but due to a slide-in camper i cant use one that fits in the bed. i need an under-bed fuel tank the bigger the better. does any such tank exist id like to be able to drive from montana to north carolina without having to stop for fuel. thanks .

i bet you wish you were back here in nc today. youd lose. i spent over 30 years in north carolina and ill take a -30 degree day in montana over the best day north carolina has to offer. western north carolina can be really pretty but its to close to eastern north carolina for my liking. 85 degrees and sunny with a light to mid breeze. which will serve to stir up the stench of the unbathed. the warmer weather also makes it a little harder for the transexual crack whores on every corner to hide their gender. - -- nathan w. collier http//utilityoffroad.com http//7slotgrille.com http//inlinediesel.com http//bighornrefrigeration.com http//concealedcarryforum.com .
