i added 2 55w auxiliary back-up lights to my truck and they pull 10a imo that is to much current for the stock 18ga wire. iaw my factory service manual and experiance its the 18ga vt/bk wire if you have factory tow package option backup light feed wire is availible from the 7 pin tow connector if you do not its in the rear lamp wiring harness splice 325. in either case id run a b+ wire to a 30a automotive relay and use the backup light feed wire to control the relay. factory service manual is available on cd from daimlerchrysler tech authority pn 81-370-03059cd best $90 bucks i spent in a while. on sun 4 jul 2004 014804 -0400 hawkeye addisons65@nospam.comcast.net wrote anyone know where i can find the wiring diagrams for a 1500 qc 4.7l 4x4 auto tranny i want to add some auxiliary back-up lights. tia hawkeye happy campimg. ldpoos@nopants.juno.com remove nopants to reply by direct e-mail; 2003 dodge 1500 qc sb hemi a/t tow package 3.92 gears 11 mpg towing 2001 aerolite 21rdb 21ft tt scales 2900 dry .
