Window door wind noise - Fixed, but . . . .

Q: i developed the infamous drivers side door wind noise on my 03 4x4 hemi quad cab. heard a lot of door seals replaced often with no result. i may have fixed mine. in mine it was not the door seal or door alignment. one day while fiddling with it while flying down the highway i gave the power window button a very quick tap which lowered the window ever so slightly. this stopped the loud wind noise immediately. so in my case it is obviously the window channel seal and.or the angle of the windows upper curve in that channel. when full up it must not be in the right angle to seal. strangely i also notice now that if i do put window all the way up i can hear a definite click sound of window glass hitting metal as the window seats apparantly directly on the metal frame. there must not be a complete seal in the channel must just wrap up both sides. part of the problem hope that helps someone. anyone know if a new window sealimproves things - dont want to have to keep tapping my power window button; but at the same time dont want to go thru the agony of service visit to verify then fix the problem. .
