Wind noise anyone else?

Q: i have a 2002 1500 quadcab and the wind noise that is being made by the plastic molding part that is located between the windshield and the hood is driving me crazy! it happens anytime that my speed is over 50-55 mph. the part vibrates right below the windshield wiper arm on either or both sides. it sounds like a woodpecker on glass! i have look looked for any loose fasteners and can not find anything. ive called the dealer and asked if there is some kind of a problem or complaints about this part vibrating in the wind. he claims to have never heard of this problem. is there anybody in the group that has had this problem is there a fix or does the molding need to be replaced thanks! .

did they replace the part in question yes i had that problem with my 01 1500. luckily i caught it during the warranty period and the dealer fixed it without a problem. i dont know what they did to fix it but they told me that they had heard of this problem before. not sure what else i can tell you. .

if it moves and aint supposed to - duct tape if it doesnt move and its supposed to - wd40 it will look like hell. beekeep what about using the new clear ductduck tape ill start watching reality tv shows when i can vote people off the planet. .
