Why doesn't Dodge sell righthand drive trucks?

From : jmc

Q: chris thompson wrote what label are they going to put on the toyota cup car since they are using the tundra label in the truck series maybe they could use the tacoma label for the cup series. it will be a camry mike one the tacoma is a truck so not a cup car. and mike there is something bad wrong with a camry as a stock car!@!!!! im sorry i just dont think hey i want a performance car i think ill buy a camry. nawww dont sound right!!!! -- ---------------------------- -chris 05 ctd 06 liberty crd real trucks dont need spark plugs. welp i dont think anyone has been buying montes taurii or intrepids under the impression that they are performance cars in any light. praps a camry is the proverbial back breaking straw that drives the masses back to a more production-based series or does everybody like the current homogenized offerings.... of course it remains to be seen whether or not the next camry will be a sleek 2 door v-8 m/t monster. jon .

suddenly without warning miles exclaimed 05-dec-06 934 am jmc wrote dont know when you were there but i just left... indeed some years ago there werent many but i saw lots more this tour. i was in southern england 2 years ago. mostly around the bristol area in south west england was visiting airbus. out in the nearby countryside i saw very few trucks of any kind mini or full sized and no 4x4s other than the awd cars and mini suvs. in talking to people they told me that very few people in england have large 4x4s suvs or full sized trucks. to them there just wasnt a need. 5th wheels and the like are almost unheard of there. there were many commercial 2+ ton trucks but few passenger trucks. makes sense. up in yorkshire saw a lot more 4x4s and mid-size suvs but theres a lot more farmers up there hills dirt roads and generally more weather. jmc .

yes completely normal. in cold weather my wifes 04.5 takes forever to even get warm and if idling it will idle all the way back till the temp gauge looks like the truck isnt even running. well probably be buying her a gas powered truck soon just so she can get some heat. my 05 warms up quicker but its pulling a heavy load. it will also cool down at idle. -- nathan in montana http//concealedcarryforum.com http//1911tech.com http//glockcarry.com i have a 2004 3500 cummins and live in iowa. in the morning when its 20 or colder it takes abought 15 minutes at hyway speeds so 1900rpms befor the temp comes up to 200 is this slow for diesel then when i get to work early and sit in my truck for 5 or 10 minutes befor going in after 5 or so the temp drops at idle to around 160 -170 and the enging revs up to 1000 rpms. should the temp drop like this after engine is warmed up .

maybe it the aussies drove on the right side of the road. cause im tellin ya from my experiences in england and australia theyd sell like hotcakes. ive only been in oz for a few months and ive had many conversations with aussies about how cool they think my truck is a 2001 dakota slt 4x4 club cab with a line-x bedliner. talked with an aussie corrections officer for like a half-hour about how cool he thinks my truck is... sigh aussie guys lust after my truck more than me but hubbys happy with that. brits also loved my truck but not nearly as much as the aussies do. might be because its easier to park here parking spots in england are made for minis i think and 4x4s are more a necessity here in the outback. my favorite moment though was back in england. i was helping a friend move a childs piano they did the lifting i just drove. id talked to this one college student guy about engine sizes etc... when we got to the new place they were standing there and as i drove up he asked me to rev the engine 4.7l v8 very very big by brit standards. i did. unfortunately i missed the expression on his face but everybody there started laughing especially when he said do it again! do it again! like he was about five. oh and its become a very popular vehicle with the under-15s here too cause the parents are allowing them to ride in the bed when were at the showgrounds fairgrounds moving stuff and hay for rda. seriously though why dont they sell dodge dakotas overseas outside of bases jmc .
