Why are our rear bumpers rusting?

Q: hp wrote a friend at work and myself each bought an 04 hemi. he has noticed what he believes to be rust on his rear bumper and i believe i have it too. i have seen this discussed on the dodge truck world forums and it seems to be a common problem. anybody else notice this hopefully our bumper to bumper warranties will cover replacement. crap! i tried to save a buck and only got the front bumper to tailgate warranty. .
