calibers can usually be rebuilt. on fri 20 apr 2007 124647 gmt bill allemann custom4173@sbcglobal.netinvalid wrote forgot to mention the truck seems to roll freely in neutral so i dont think one wheel has the cylinders stuck. it seems more like a proportioning valve if the truck has one is putting all the flow to one wheel. the proportioning valve works from back to front not left to right. i would check for sticky calipers because i have seen them stick in all brands with age as the pads wear and the puck expands and contacts a corroded area in bore. sometimes you can get more life out of them by installing new pads and forces pucks back into bores were there is no corrosion and not let pads wear down to point it sticks. the only real fix though is replacing them if they are sticking. ----------------- thesnoman.com .

my 97 dakota just started getting some rod clatter and the oil pressure goes to near 0 at idle. approx. 202500 miles on it. 3.9 v-6 auto trans. some rust on box. fix or replace jasper wants almost $2400 for a reman. ill also mention that we now have 4 drivers sharing 2 cars. daughters cars engine seized in july and ive yet to fix or replace it. life is still damn good the logistics are getting tricky. ken after draining the oil and removing the oil filter i saw that the filter didnt have any oil in it. what would cause this i use wix filters. ken its either drainback doubtful or oil pump is out likely. with the angle the oil filter is at in relation to the block it would seem that drainback would be near impossible. .
