Q: its getting louder. used to be heard at highway speeds but now quite loud at 45. if i step on brakes or turn to the left sound deadens quite a bit. took off tire and nothing seems loose. could this be a wheel bearing still have not taken the rotor off nor the giant nut what is that 30 35mm. just thought i would ask see what everyone else thinks before removing anything else. gb .

need to get their attention instantly. sounds like you are just a big kid looking for attention. hopefully the cops will give you some if you blow an obnoxious horn like that in traffic. please give me your personal cell number and i will call you for your approval first before i use it. i dont give out my number to children. steve who personally doesnt worry about the cops. so you like to break the laws on the road act like an ass in traffic be a general idiot and a bother to others while driving no i am a safe driver. havent been stopped in nine years. but then my vehicle has special identification that any police officer recognizes as agency issued. steve agency issued you say let me guess you have one of those bright yellow license plates identifying you as a reckless driver wrong. ok then they are bright orange license plates no. its a special license frame that identifies me as someone whos on their side. steve i see. so let me guess you went to a dollar store and got a cheap aftermarket license frame that says cops are my friends similar to the drunk who puts the dont drink & drive bumper sticker on his cheap-ass vehicle and later gets busted for dui . 222 334550 7nqh.11757$3p3.2660@read3..pas.earthlink.net took off tire and nothing seems loose. could this be a wheel bearing 2nd vote for wheel bearing still have not taken the rotor off nor the giant nut what is that 30 35mm. 1-11/16 - torque is 175ft.lbs. .

took off tire and nothing seems loose. could this be a wheel bearing 2nd vote for wheel bearing gosh darn it...i did put the wheel back on and turned it. there is a sound coming from the bearing area..almost like tumblers..but not quite. i priced it at a placed called advanced auto its like autozone. told me its factory direct part for $310..crap. you or anyone know of a second source these are sealed bearings correct maybe a junk yard you would think that dodge would use those famous german bearings for such a important part since the plants sure did get bombed a lot during wwii. since they are a part of dc now. still have not taken the rotor off nor the giant nut what is that 30 35mm. 1-11/16 - torque is 175ft.lbs. i dont have that size. guess i have to go buy it. thanks for the info. gb .

told me its factory direct part for $310..crap. sounds about right if you have abs. you or anyone know of a second source not for a hd bearing 2500/3500 trucks - theyve always been dealer-only. however ebays showing several at least for 94-99 dont know why a 2000 would be any different in the $130-$150 range. these are sealed bearings correct yep .

ive had good luck buying bearings for othere things at a local bearing shop miller bearing. for instance i was rebuilding a brit made anchor windlass and didnt want to wait for a grossly overpriced part from there. took the shot bearings to miller where they micd them and sold me replacements for a fraction of what the makers of the windlass wanted. might check your yellow pages. took off tire and nothing seems loose. could this be a wheel bearing 2nd vote for wheel bearing gosh darn it...i did put the wheel back on and turned it. there is a sound coming from the bearing area..almost like tumblers..but not quite. i priced it at a placed called advanced auto its like autozone. told me its factory direct part for $310..crap. you or anyone know of a second source these are sealed bearings correct maybe a junk yard you would think that dodge would use those famous german bearings for such a important part since the plants sure did get bombed a lot during wwii. since they are a part of dc now. still have not taken the rotor off nor the giant nut what is that 30 35mm. 1-11/16 - torque is 175ft.lbs. i dont have that size. guess i have to go buy it. thanks for the info. gb .

ive had good luck buying bearings for othere things at a local bearing shop miller bearing. i can absolutely guarantee they wont have this one. its a one-piece sealed unit with integrated hub abs tone ring and wheel studs. its not simply a matter of matching the right tapered roller bearing. .
