Q: lol another asshole shows how stupid he really is. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving yeah yeah yeah same ole democreep double standard. how soon the liberal looney democraps forget how kerry made an issue in the presidential campaign of cheneys daughter being a lesbian. how about when heinz-kerry lied and accused laura bush of *never* having to work for a living now that was really democrap hypocrisy since heinz-kerry inherited all her money from her husband senator heinz. moreover laura bush taught for many years in the texas public school system hit the road t-bone and take your double standard democreep hypocrisy with you. has your democreep party come up with a plan for iraq yet nevermind the democrap plan is to cut and run while letting coward dean rant & rave like the lunatic he is. yeah t-bone have some class leave cheneys daughter out of it. john purple hearts kerry my ass! i read a while ago in the odd on yahoo that kenyan councilman godwin kipkemoi chepkurgor offered 40 goats and 2 cows for the hand of chelsea clinton in marriage about five years ago. he must be desperate. i dont think she could be worth more than a couple pigs and a rat but only if they offer change back. budd this is pretty low budd and shows a complete lack of class. what did chelsea do to you or anybody else for that matter and you of all people who claims that family should be kept out of things. if you dont like bill or hillary fine make your jokes about them since they are both public figures in politics but have some class man and leave their daughter out of it. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

lol funny i dont recall a seal whining like that when it goes bad. did this piece of info which i see you didnt supply a link to specifically say that the bad seal was causing the bearing failures or did it just say that it was affecting the rear which couls be nothing more than forming a leak. how exactly is this bad seal damaging the carrier bearings check any dodge dealer and note that the part number now has an ab suffix indicating a revised part. hmm the part that keeps the lubricant in the case is failing but you cant figure out the connection to how a part that needs the lubrication fails. sure max and you were the one that claimed that the problem didnt exist at all and once again these failures were due to normal wear lol! please supply a link to this difficult to find information so that we can see what it really said minus your spin. the bearing problem that you complain so much about does not exist. my source cited no links but did have part numbers. i dont care if you believe me. however it would be a surprising change in your normal corporate greed/conspiracy attitude given that i mentioned its a covert change. -- max there are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty soap ballot jury and ammo. please use in that order. -ed howdershelt author it is obvious just reading the posts in here. bad rear bearings in the 9 1/4 worthless ball joints in the dakota a huge number of blower resistor blowouts bad blend air doors hell i could rattle off this crap all day. yeah you could but until you get the facts you ought to shut up. dc just released a not so easily found piece of info saying the 9 1/4 axle was affected by a bad pinion seal. so it was not the bearings but the pinion seal. lol funny i dont recall a seal whining like that when it goes bad. did this piece of info which i see you didnt supply a link to specifically say that the bad seal was causing the bearing failures or did it just say that it was affecting the rear which couls be nothing more than forming a leak. how exactly is this bad seal damaging the carrier bearings even when there is a problem you dont know what it is. sure max and you were the one that claimed that the problem didnt exist at all and once again these failures were due to normal wear lol! please supply a link to this difficult to find information so that we can see what it really said minus your spin. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

hey max why do you even reply to t-bone head because its fun to watch him sputter. right now i dont have to put much effort into it since hes doing fine looking silly on another thread. -- max there are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty soap ballot jury and ammo. please use in that order. -ed howdershelt author hey max why do you even reply to t-bone head ill admit he does provide some comic relief he sure does let his alligator mouth over load his humming bird ass and that is what is so funny. he sorta reminds me of the key stone cops intentions may be honorable but the light bulb is burned out. my observation coasty it is obvious just reading the posts in here. bad rear bearings in the 9 1/4 worthless ball joints in the dakota a huge number of blower resistor blowouts bad blend air doors hell i could rattle off this crap all day. yeah you could but until you get the facts you ought to shut up. dc just released a not so easily found piece of info saying the 9 1/4 axle was affected by a bad pinion seal. so it was not the bearings but the pinion seal. even when there is a problem you dont know what it is. -- max there are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty soap ballot jury and ammo. please use in that order. -ed howdershelt author tbone wrote based on the fact that mine and at least three others all failed well i know about a dozen that have no problems. my dozen beats your 3 or 4. real credible evidence ya got there! lol you know about a dozen people with 97s lets have some names. add to that dcs history of using second rate parts and it gets pretty easy. do tell us all with something credible to back that statement up or is it just your own personal hearsay again it is obvious just reading the posts in here. bad rear bearings in the 9 1/4 worthless ball joints in the dakota a huge number of blower resistor blowouts bad blend air doors hell i could rattle off this crap all day. it is not the number of cases yet that makes it huge it is what is happening. and you have nothing to suggest anything is happening. 4 people that had the exact same failure within a few months. i said that it might be nothing but the chances are better that it is. perhaps you will still be laughing if a line on your wifes vehicle fails. then you can add that most people dont report things to the nhtsa especially on older out of warranty vehicles because most people dont care. what hmm...guess that could be said about anything anywhere at any time. better not buy anything because you just never know it might be no good sometime later. thats your story huh better worry cuz it might be bad. lol more right wing bs spin. where did i say this because unlike you i can see the writing on the wall. do you actually read the problem posts in here i read what many say. nhtsa is a good place to see what complaints problems individuals have noted. far better than this group are places like dodgeforums.com or dodgetalk.com. even there the writing is not on the wall tbone. dang liberal blind conspiracy crap gone wild! cheap parts put in by rich greedy business owners. funny! more bs spin. i said lower priced parts and that is exactly what they did many times. its all about the money miles with people like them and you. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

useing a oil that is made for diesel in a gas engine is foolish for a number of reasons. from chevrons web page; chevron delo 400 synthetic engine oil chevron delo 400 synthetic heavy duty motor oil is recommended for use in turbocharged diesel and four-cycle gasoline engines torque converters gear cases and hydraulic systems operating in arctic-type climates and high temperature conditions. using the latest synthetic oil technology chevron delo 400 synthetic provides excellent performance with either high- or low-sulfur diesel fuels and in extended service applications. i would think that the additives used in a diesel oil would be different from that used in a gas engine. also in most cases oil used in diesel engines are more expensive to buy than that used in gas engines. roy poorub 05 ultra classic .

thesnoman wrote quite honestly dodge has had a lot of those problems and it known for them like gm is known for piston slap issues in a lot of earier 5.3s and some 6.0s due to poor quality/tolerance control. sure they have problems just like ford and chevy are known for certain problems as well. my 1989 firebird was a lemon and the v6 3.2l at the time was well known for valve guide problems. .

delo used widely and advertised in other countries for gasoline engines also. see below caltex delo sports - available in asia pacific and africa & middle east regions. delo sports is a high-performance multigrade diesel or gasoline engine oil specifically designed to provide maximum protection for sport utility sport activity pickup and 4x4 vehicles. jay wrote chevron delo 15w-40 is made for a diesel not gas engines. your mechanic has to be older than dirt. i have been using a chevron delo 15w-40 synthetic oil in a 2004 ram 1500 and a grand caravan stow and go 3.8 throughout. mechanic recommendation. is this then a bad idea perhaps i phrase my question as clear as i could have... so i will try again i am considering the purchase of a 2005/2006 dakota slt - therefore i do not have a manual to check. i was hoping someone with a manual would advise me of the preferred as well as the option higher viscosity oils that may be referred to in the owners manual. unlike some other car makers dodge does not seem to have a tech link that i am able to locate. my current vehicle manufacturer has a great support site complete with tsbs oild viscosity charts etc. thanks for any help you can give. paul nothing wrong at all with using 15w40 in a older engine in hot weather or to help reduce oil consumption in a worn engine. it will not hurt a thing and is a better choice for this than 10w40. it would not be my first choice in a new tight engine unless it got up to 100 or more a lot during that change cycle. useing a oil that is made for diesel in a gas engine is foolish for a number of reasons. .

complete bullshit. there are many materials and alloys that can meet a given pressure spec but they dont all have the same durability corrosion resistance or cost. the fact that you said this just shows how little you really know and i didnt even mention the multiple corosion prevention treatments that can be applied to any one of these numerous materials also at different levels of durability and cost. yup there are a lot of different metals that can meet different pressure spec. but were talking about common steel brake line. so try as you might that little bit of spin aint gonna cut it. if these lines were used on many trucks then there will be a huge problem in the near future ok so it was you that said the problem was huge despite your denial in the immediately previous post where you informed miles that he and i said it not you. learn how to read and then tell me where i said it was huge and that it did affect massive numbers of vehicles. right up there. you keep repeating how the problem is so big. then when we say its small to nonexistant you backpedal and claim that every big problem starts somewhere. its in nearly every post you make on this topic. given that your truck is a 97 and there are not any huge problems with the 94 95 and 96 model years i seriously doubt there will be a huge problem on the 97. why are the 949596 and 97s exactly the same actually yeah they are. try looking up any part for the chassis like brake line or suspension parts and youll find that it fits all those years and likely on up to the 2002 body change. no it was you. you claimed that dc had a massive campaign to screw the consumer that they used inferior materials and that brake lines dont rust out in eight years. lol no that was miles spin saying a massive campaign to screw the customer and brake lines dont normally rust out in eight years. yeah now the outright denail. next morgan fairchild will be your wife. -- max there are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty soap ballot jury and ammo. please use in that order. -ed howdershelt author .
