i have a dodge ram 2500 automatic. i wanted to know will a viper 1998 engine bolt up to my existing tranny or what mods will i have to do its 4x4 no. the viper was designed to bolt up to the tremec 6-speed transmission. however later models of the ram srt-10 truck had the viper v10 mated to a 48re automatic which is the same bolt pattern as your transmission. you might want to enquire with a knowledgable mopar parts manager about the possibility of obtaining that vehicles transmission adapter plate. .

i have a soft top jeep and i always keep my doors unlocked and nothing valuable inside. problem is the level of criminal encountered around here is too damn stupid to try the doors. last time someone broke into my jeep they unzipped the back window crawled in over top of the spare tire this jeep has a 4 lift and 33 tires so they had to work at getting up there over 2 baby seats in the back and between the front bucket seats just to realize the only thing in there to steal was my $5.00 pair of sunglasses. dumbasses could have opened the driver side door and grabbed those in 2 seconds. jmc wrote suddenly without warning nosey exclaimed 17-jan-07 908 pm one of our neighbors discovered the cure to car prowlers. german shepard and a cricket bat well we are in australia. 8-- once in a while would fall asleep in an unlocked car. damn crazy americans! you or the thieves 8-- the thieves sleep in the cars. i could be a bit crazy im not really sure oh sorry cant answer your question except something old and decrepit with nothing of value kept inside. a loud alarm system might be better than bullet-proof glass you might just save your wifes life by not going for unbreakable glass. more thieves are stopped by a blinking led than by door locks anyway. or you could leave the doors unlocked and nothing valuable inside... which is what some folks do here thats great advice especially for someone with a convertible. replacement tops are very expensive. guy here has a soft top jeep with neat little knife-cut hole in the plastic window. breaking windows is noisy. cutting them is not... but they found out it was a waste of time he dont keep nuttin in his jeep. jmc -- -- robb from rochester http//redneckprogrammer.blogspot.com/ .
