Wheelhorse snow plow?
From : max dodge
Q: ive got one of the last wheelhorse tractors before toro dropped the old line of stuff a 4-818 i think. im being offered a plow for it but im told to make an offer. any of you lawn tractor guys know what this stuff goes for used any info would help. max dont know about the wheelhorse blade but a 54 blade for a atv can be bought new for under $200. that is probably more blade than you need so offer accordingly. roy max give a man a match and he is warm for a short while. light him on fire and he is warm for the rest of his life. .

you ask them to do it and yes you can do it yourself but it is a hassle especially with 4 wheel abs. its no different with or without abs... unless you let the resevoir run dry. first siphon the fluid from the resevoir and re-fill with fresh fluid. open up the right rear bleeder and expel 1/4 of the total fluid into a catch can. re-fill the resevoir and do the same to the left rear. i do this with a hand-held vacuum pump so its a one-person operation. since i do it along with a tire rotation and the wheels are already off the entire job takes about 15 minutes. .

actually it was started by the manufacturers to reduce ac system warranty repairs come the following summer although a side benefit was quicker defrosting. they figured you running the defrost through the winter would keep the oils flowing through the system and keep the o-rings and seals from drying out. remember when you could buy a car w/o ac maybe not if your young enough but i had plenty of them as a teen...in fact i didnt have working ac until i bought a used 93 saturn! hehe anyway...just another your van came with a/c so it was designed to handle the added heat the a/c system would put on the cooling system. whether its on or not the trouble shooting steps are the same. .

well this way instead of buying a plow for the truck i get a plow that fits my driveway and mows the lawn. -- max give a man a match and he is warm for a short while. light him on fire and he is warm for the rest of his life. took the time factor into consideration and figured that unless it really hates starting in the cold ill save time. if nothing else ill be more motivated. id also thought about the ability of my car to get out of the same spot i park the truck and i know it cant unless i shovel. due to fuel prices and a number of other factors i figure i can also plow a path for the car saving wear on the truck. probably 10 years ago i bought a snowblower to do my front and rear porches and sidewalk. after using it about 3-4 times i just get the scoop shovel off the nail and use it. i think i gave the blower away a couple of years ago to make more room in the shed. that blower was about the biggest waste of money i ever spent. denny .
