What's up with all the broken Dakotas all of a sudden?

Q: being now mechanic i would think as far as starting just make sure oil and everything is good before you start i.e. not any water int he oil or metal. just my opinion .

thats exactly what i did. i added the factory mirrors as an afterthought and sold my stock factory mirrors for $75.00 to a guy in va. i think my tow mirrors ran me around $300.00 installed. but yeah what tom said..the factory ones seem to be the best. i wonder if one can go buy them and put them on. one can... about $220-$240 on ebay compare to $90-$100 as a factory option .
