what i find bothersome is that the report came out now after over 4 years. pres. bush only acted as hes promised saddam when saddam refused to let the un investigators look around . . .could it be he was hiding or destroying his wmds do you think if the report had come out in a timely manner if the investigators hadnt been delayed from doing their jobs would pres. bush have attacked iraq at all why hasnt any of the media noticed this -- budd pres. bush john kerry has changed his position on the iraq war so many times he could debate himself. b.c. and lose. what a load of biased propaganda. doesnt mention much about the full content of the report. typical liberal media. leave out the facts and spin what creates division. afterall division is what the democrats need to survive. sal wrote baghdad oct. 7 xinhuanet -- a us report on iraqs alleged weapons of mass destruction wmd which cleared iraq of possession of such arms triggered fiery condemnation among the iraqis on thursday. http//.xinhuanet.com/english/2004-10/07/content2061461.htm one of 1880 related sites .

tbone wrote sorry guy you can keep your head buried in the sands of fear all you want and refuse to see the writing on the wall but it is still there just the same. i never said that kerry was great but bush is worse and i doubt that the country can afford four more years of him running it. kerry scares me more. the only one worse than kerry would be edwards. anyone who scammed millions due to his own lawyers greed should not be anywheres near the whitehouse. give me a break miles like either bush or cheney are any better. please give specific facts as to what edwards scammed. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

this morning i topped of my 35 gallon tank and added 7 oz of enviromax plus out of the bottle jon moser sent to me last week. my last 2 fillups in my 03 qc 4x4 hemi resulted in an average mpg of 10.2. ugly i know but its been all around town lately. this stuff isnt cheap and at $22/16oz it will add $9.625 to each fillup. at 2.00/gal my total fuel cost would be $79.625. 10.2 mpg without emp costs me $0.196 per mile. with emp assuming no gain each mile now costs me $0.223 per mile. i will need a 12% gain in fuel economy to break even. now in fairness the maintenance dose of emp is 1oz/10 gallons not 5 so the break even level goes down but since i dont have enough product to get to the maintenance level i will stick with the 10oz/5 gallon figure for the test. ill report back next week with the results of the first tank. --mike mike did i miss something did you report anything yet -- fmb only one b in fmb .

bilsteins. thats the answer i got when i posed the question to a dodge safety engineer. those germans really know how to build shocks. they are a little more costly but have a lifetime warranty. bill-- did you get them how did you like them kevin i have a 98 dodge dakota and was wondering what kind of shocks i should get brand. i have been told by some that monroe and gabriel are 2 of the best but i have been told by others that they dont last long. i also read that it would be best to buy new oem shocks from a dealer because they should last the original warranty period or longer but they cost more than aftermarket shocks. i plan to run this truck until it dies so i want the shocks to last a good while. i only use it for going back and forth to work and the occasional side trip. i almost never go off road and if i do its just an open field or something. so anyway any help would be appreciated. cost doesnt matter i just need to know how actual drivers would rate them. thanks. kevin .

a friend thinks they have torx heads on the caliper bolt. does anyone out there know exactly what i need to remove the bolt i guess you cant take a wheel off and take a look should be an interesting brake job you do know the wheel has to come off to do the brake job politics the gentle art of getting votes from the poor and campaign funds from the rich. duh yeah i could do that. or i could ask in a group and hope someone doesnt mind providing a decent answer. lets see one involves removing the wheel seeing what kinda head is on the bolt putting the wheel back on then potentially heading to the store to get the right tool. the other involves asking what seems to be a nice bunch of folks generally so that i can get the right tool ahead of time or even discover that i already have it. the sad thing is it takes just as long to be a wisecracker as it does to give a straight answer -- and it takes even less time to say nothing at all... but what is the fun in that g i think it is either a 7 or 8 mm allen. denny .

what are everyones thoughts on the new dakota i read that it will not have the hemi since the hemi wont clear the frame rails without a major redesign and the ho v8 is 260hp not too bad but its also a bigger truck! the added length is mainly in the nose with the protruding bumper. i will still have to drive one to see if its really worth it or not but for now i think i will keep my 99 dak until the next revision five years from now. unless they wise up and put a nice diesel in the new dak. .

kevin wrote miles wrote the oem shocks on my 2001 ram were junk. they were worn out by 10k miles. even when they were new the ride was horrible. back end shudder over speed bumps and bad control when turning. i dont need top of the line shocks just something decent. i put monroe senso-tracs on and the solved the problems i was having with the oems. the monroe sensa-tracs are good shocks and supposedly the monroe reflex shocks which im running now are a little better. i think i got a better ride from the sensa-tracs which i ran for about 60000 miles before switching to the reflex. just about anything beats the oem but some people seem to swear by them. for what kevin describes as his driving habits/conditions my opinion is the sensa-tracs would work just fine. jerry i think monroe has discontinued the sensa trac and replaced it with the reflex. how long have you had the reflexs and are you just as satisfied with them as the last set the sensa-trac is still advertised on their web site and i know the local parts store near me still carries them. ive put about 20000 miles on the reflexs and they are holding up good and this is on a 2500 4x4 that travels down i40 in oklahoma a lot which gives them a pretty good workout. if you go with the sensa-trac there are two different applications. one is for light duty trucks and the other is for heavier duty such as mine. if a comfortable ride is you intention the light duty set which is what i had on a 1500 ram would be best though in my experience the type of tires you run dictates more the comfort of the ride than the shocks. jerry about the discontinuation. i remember reading on a website while doing my own research that either sensatrac was replacing reflex or vice versa its been recently that it happened so they are both still widely available but one will be phased out soon. yeah when i switched to at tires i noticed a big difference in noise. but no big deal since i usually have the stereo way up anyway. i just know its past time to replace my shocks by the way the truck has been handling. i never tow anything and i rarely haul anything more than 500 lbs passengers excluded. i guess ill give the sensa tracs a shot and see what happens. t xhanks guys. kevin .
