From : another anonymous
Q: ive a 98 durango and cleaned it up at the carwash today. while i was washing it with the high pressure sprayer i decided to wash the engine. did so about an hour ago and now its running sloppy and the check engine light comes on. will it dry out after a day or so and clear up thanks for the info. .

thanks that took care of it. | you may need to remove the distributor cap and dry it out. the high | pressure probably forced water under the cap and it is not going to get out | by itself so easily. the check engine light is probably referring to mis | fire codes. i would also remove the air-cleaner and make sure that you | didnt fill it up with water as well. | | -- | if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving | | | ive a 98 durango and cleaned it up at the carwash today. while i was | washing it | with the high pressure sprayer i decided to wash the engine. did so about | an | hour ago and now its running sloppy and the check engine light comes on. | will | it dry out after a day or so and clear up thanks for the info. | | | | | .
