Q: tbone wrote why not a person with a bigger house than you in your area pays more taxes than you do. why shouldnt a person with more cars then they need not do so as well not in all states really which ones right here in kalifornia. if you bought your 3000 sq ft house 25 years ago you wouldnt be paying as much a guy who just bought a 1800 sq ft home. you are locked into a small annual tax increase based on your purchase price not the current value of the home. and who determines how many cars i need .......... you indirectly yes me and the rest of the society that you live in. if you really need or just want them then you shouldnt mind paying a small tax for privilege and if you dont then the tax is good encouragement to get rid of them and clean up your neighborhood and also helps pay for the enforcement of some of the white trash laws mentioned above. you and the rest of your socialist society that you want to live in. i pay for the right to own my vehicles via purchase price sales taxes registration taxes. i dont need another tax or someone to come tell me what i need for a vehicle. if were up to mr potatoe i would only have zero personal vehicles and would ride the partys bus. who the hell are they to determin my need we arent totally komunistic yet just heading that way. -- fmb only one b in fmb .

thanks gavin for your input all the company cars that my dad bought home 318s and 360s all had electronic ignition the earliest we had in a v8 was a vj 1974 then vk 360s i spoke to my friend and he is getting an ignition packso thats not a problem to fixbut when he got the d20.all the wiring under the bonnet was hanging inpiecesfrom what we suspect was a rough engine change before it got sent over.alsowe suspect that the wiring colour codes are different from aust to the statesand then the unknown wire from the distrubitor we have. nothing a wiring diagram could not fix rather than pay an electrician money to nut out. i have a mate here with a chrysler mitsi wrecking yard so it is not hard to get valiant stuffsorta well getting harder now. he is dropping a 360 in his d20as we have an american one as the oil filter is at the bottom of the motornot on top on oil lines like an aussie v8 hemi. we are crow eaters by the way gavin. bye and thanks pete .

its you tps. its a common problem. the shifting is caused by electrical interference in the signal line from the throttle position sensor to the powertrain control module. several fixes have been suggested including cleaning tps by spraying it with contact cleaner pulling the tps wiring from the main wiring harness rewiring the tps wires with shielded wiring from the powertrain control module installing an electrical noise filter pulling apart the tps itself and cleaning it. the tps itself is a very expensive part and is usauly replaced as a last resort. check out the following web site for more info. http//www.dodgeram.org/tech/dsl/facts/12velocations-l.gif http//www.turbodieselregister.com/forums/showthread.phps=&threadid=94812 .

who makes the 5 speed auto-transmission for the 2500hd hemi ram no one. its a 45rfe which is a 4spd with a kickdown ratio. 1234 kickdown to a ratio between 2nd and 3rd. no - the hemi gets an actual 5spd tranny the 545rfe which is different than the 45rfe 4spd with 2 2nd gear ratios used behind the 4.7l. the 545 rfe has the following gear ratios 1st 3.001 2nd 1.671 2nd prime 1.501 3rd 1.001 4th 0.751 5th 0.671 rev 3.001 the 45rfe is identical but is missing the second higher overdrive. .
